It's All a Circus

It’s All a Circus promises a lighthearted and entertaining romp, devoted to the magic of spectacle. Steeped in satire, exaggerated and ridiculous, the work acts as a literal antithesis to the seriousness that we lived through in pandemic-land.

It’s All a Circus premiered June 15, 2022 as part of the Seattle International Dance Festival's James Ray Residency Project.

In 2023, guest performers included vocalist Caela Bailey, stilts walker Leslie Rosen, and juggler Audrey Greaves.
